I am architect, italian, 4y experience in beijing and 2y in italy. I’m looking for job in Bangkok as I want o move next year from china to thailand. Is the thai market good for architects? are there international firms and thai firms hiring foreigners? what’s the avarage salary for a foreign architect there? thanks a lot for the answers

Your question made me curious, so I searched it with Thai keywords “Architect , salary”
Seems like the newbies are getting about 15,000THB to start, upper/higher degree at 22,000THB. (500-735USD)
Hiring a non-Thai national can be tricky for companies in Thailand due to strict laws of Thai – Foreigner ratio allowance. Some say it’s easier to ‘partner’ with a Thai. With the entrepreneur spirit, I might agree… but not so with the lack of time commitment in the country.
