Discussed and Not So Discussed Reasons to Work Online from Home

As work from home career opportunities increase, more and more people are looking at the possibility of working online from the comfort of their home.

Below is a list of some discussed and not so discussed reasons working from home might be the best option for you.

1. The “Carrot” is not really attainable: My close friends and I worked for years with corporations because we were working for the “carrot”. The “carrot” being cashed in stock options or large commission checks that are just around the corner. Corporations know that in order to motivate their employees they must hold something in front of them to keep them working. The problem with the “carrot” is only 1 percent of employees get the “carrot” and it is usually somebody over you.

2. Working at home is cheaper than working at an office: Years ago, when I worked for corporations my monthly gasoline expense was four times what it is today. Transportation costs coupled with buying lunch every day from a restaurant is a large expense. If you start working from home you will notice right away that your expenses lower. Do not work to drive yourself to work and eat while you are at work.

3. Working from home you are your own boss: Most people do not like having a boss, I know don’t.

4. Your home office is much more comfortable then your cubicle or office: People working from home are working in their pajamas or shorts. I love not having to wear a shirt and wearing my comfortable pants and slippers while I work.

5. If your work is done on-line, you can work from most anywhere: My associates and I work online and love to see the world. Over the last year one of my associates has been able to live in the U.S.A., Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Argentina. As long as he has access to the Internet he can work. How nice would it be to travel the world with your family and still be able to work?

6. You get paid 24/7 for your work: The Internet never sleeps. Imagine getting paid while you sleep.

7. Working Online allows you to make your own schedule: Do you like to ski, surf, play tennis, golf, hike, fish etc.? Most 8-5 jobs take up your whole day and do not allow you to spend the warmest parts of the day outside. For me there was nothing more depressing then walking into work right after the sun rises and then leaving work after the sun sets. Working for yourself at home allows you to do what you love during the day.

7. Bang for your buck: This is really important to understand. Once you learn to work online from home, you will find that you have to spend less and less time working to make money. You will be able to make the same as you did working 40 hours a week by only working 15-20 hours a week. Your time is worth more then your 8-5 job is paying you.

Now more then ever it is important to take a look at working from your home. The online world is growing exponentially and every day it is easier to work from home. Step back and observe your corporate job, it might be time to leave it.

Why are some people getting rich working from home on the internet? Chris Carpenter has authored a best selling book which explains how this is possible. To learn ways to make money on the Internet and learn more about Chris Carpenter: http://affiliatejackpot.com/pr.htm

Domestic dispute ned help?

Question by Timothy B: Domestic dispute ned help?
Okay this isn`t really a domestic dispute so to speak more like me wanting to know if i`m right or wrong . First of all i`m 19 going on twenty i live with my mother i am going to school to become an electrician and i have a part time job my sister and i help out around the house with bills ! My bills are the water the cable / internet / phone. and that is recent meaning i used to pay the local cable company for the cable and the internet only my bill came up to 120 a month.when this was the case which was manageable but with the addition of the phone it jumped to 160 a month. The phone was my moms idea not mine i have a cell phone which is from boost mobile the bill is 65 dollars a month which is small and i just had a heated discussion with my mom about the bill she jacked up. Her argument was i was complaining about 40 dollars i kept saying the problem isn`t the fourty it was the toatal of 160 a month the water bills is usually 60 every two – three months no problem there but i hardly make over 300 dollars a month the new cable&internet / phone bill plus the 60 cell bill is 225 monthly which is almost my whole pay this leaves me with 75 dollars which i found unacceptable after further discussion she agreed to reimburse me for the house phone. I pay for every month and don`t use so was i right to be heated or was i wrong she`s my mom and i love her but i`m young and need my money and the amount i mentioned doesn`t count the months where i need to pay the water bill and any extra expenses that may arise
i am grateful for her letting me stay and will do what it takes to help her out but not if i am left with nothing to show for my work.
That you all i was just wondering if i was in the right is all .The bill is really no huge problem as i love oth cable and internet she agreed to repay me fourty bucks a month so i`m not woried . sides if i get my car soon i`ll need the extra cash

Lima, Ohio (PRWEB) June 9, 2009

American Trim hosted United States Commerce Secretary Gary Locke at their Research and Development Center in Lima, Ohio. The visit was a far reaching effort by the Commerce Department to visit Ohio companies to learn of plans to support the Government’s Economic Recovery Plan and showcase new manufacturing techniques supporting that effort.

During Secretary Locke’s visit to American Trim he toured the development center to see the advancements made in fuel cell production capabilities. “We were able to demonstrate, in real time, technology which will play an important role in enabling the Administration’s alternative energy program as well as change the face of American manufacturing,” commented Rick Pfeifer, American Trim’s Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. “And, importantly for Ohio and American Trim, this technology will create jobs.” Locke remarked after his tour of the facility that, “This factory, American Trim is a great example of the Department of Commerce use of Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP) to help private sector companies drive growth.”

In addition to US Secretary Locke, Lieutenant Governor Fisher and Lima’s Mayor Berger also addressed the audience of Lima-based companies during the town hall meeting.

Mayor Berger expressed his goal of attracting State’s investment dollars to the Lima area to fund growth and innovation leading to jobs. “Our goal is to invigorate the existing manufacturing base with innovation and technology. American Trim is an exciting example delivering on the vision.”

The Lieutenant Governor explained during the town hall discussion that attracting businesses to the Ohio area is the main focus of the Governor’s office. They believe this can be done through adjusting to the changing economy by continuing to innovate and grow. He commented on American Trim’s use of state funding as being, “a model Ohio company that is symbolic of the kinds of companies we want to keep and attract to Ohio.”
